Zimbra Is Down

UPDATE - the problem has been corrected.  Zimbra mail is now functioning normally.  If you continue to have problems accessing your email, please contact the IT Help Desk at 2HELP (4357).

Possible Zimbra Outages/Slow Responses

 Users may experience some interruption in the Zimbra service on Friday, March 22st, in the afternoon. Two of the Zimbra servers are in need of hardware maintenance. The maintenance will not affect the entire Zimbra service but users may experience outages or slow response as the servers are taken in and out of service.

Projected Maintenance on ISIS

Technicians have been working to restore ISIS/MVS.  They have informed us the service will be restored within the next 30 minutes.

IT Services Unavailable

On Friday, March 1st, from Noon to 4pm, several IT services will be unavailable due to electrical work being performed in the Stephens Hall data center. The following services will be unavailable for either part or all of that time:

  • Moodle
  • Zimbra
  • Dupre Library proxy services
  • Barracuda SPAM appliance
  • ULink
  • IT Help Desk ticket system
  • Netreg
  • IMN CopyGuard
  • WebAid

Online Payment System Back Up

Service Outage

UPDATE:  January 4, 2013 - The server maintenance was complete at 11:00PM last night.  All services should be functioning normally. 

If you have any problems with any campus resource, please contact the IT Help Desk.

This evening, January 3, 2013, there will be a temporary service outage for most of the resources on campus for much needed maintenance on the server that controls those resources.

The outage will occur between 9:30PM and Midnight. 

The services affected range from the University Bookstore Inventory and Point of Sale services to the Alumni Center's Millenium and Crystal Reports.  

The services provided by the server should be functioning normally by start of business tomorrow, January 4, 2013.
